Langley is a small and lively village on serene Whidbey Island. The town overlooks Saratoga Passage and the Cascade Mountain Range. Along the waterfront, shops are brimming with art, antiques, unique clothing and delectable fare at a variety of restaurants.

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts (WICA), bordered by 200 year old fir trees. WICA offers high caliber musical events and live theatre most weekends. The Clyde Theatre in downtown Langley on 1st Street, offers first run movies in a historic 1930's movie house.

A stretch of beach is easily accessible from Langley's Seawall Park. This is the perfect spot to relax after your healing journey at OHA. Take a beach walk and look for resident populations of Bald Eagles, Herons and Sea Lions. You may be lucky enough to spot a migrating Gray Whale (most often in the Spring) or a pod of Orcas feeding in the waters off Whidbey.

The Langley area has the highest density of Country Inns, B&B's and Guest Cottages in the state. Whidbey Island Inns & Bed & Breakfasts is an excellent place to start. For an intimate and cozy try Victoria's B&B. Victoria, a local weaver of extraordinary baskets, offers two beautiful rooms and a large old fashioned claw foot tub to lounge in.

The village is also famous for five star rated restaurants as well as family restaurants, delicious bakeries, gourmet delis and an award winning local winery. For gourmet dining with a water view and artful presentation, try Prima Bistro, a short walk from either the Langley Motel or Victoria's B&B. For more casual dining offering breakfast and lunch, try the Braeburn Cafe on 2nd Street in Langley. There are many more tasty restaurant choices throughout all of Whidbey Island.

You'll enjoy this beautiful village any time of the year. It is a great place to spend a romantic weekend for two, or an active vacation of swimming, beachcombing, biking and hiking for the whole family.
